Neuroinclusion in Action: Supporting Every Brain at Work
In this session, we explore what it means to lead in a way that embraces neurodiversity and supports the inclusion of neurodivergent employees and caregivers. Participants will gain clarity on what neuroinclusion is, why it matters, and the practical ways leaders can build team cultures that work for all cognitive styles—not just the neurotypical majority.
Led by expert facilitator this session will unpack how common workplace norms unintentionally exclude neurodivergent people and how small, intentional leadership shifts can make a significant difference. Drawing from real scenarios and lived experience, this session equips leaders with a neuroaffirming lens to reframe behaviours, reduce bias, and remove friction for team members who think, process and communicate differently.
This session also brings attention to the often-overlooked experience of employees who are also caregivers of neurodivergent children—and how inclusive leadership includes supporting them too.
Learning Outcomes:
- Understand what neurodiversity is and the broad spectrum of neurodivergent experiences
- Recognise how common workplace practices can exclude or undermine neurodivergent employees
- Identify practical leadership behaviours that enable neuroinclusion (e.g. flexible communication styles, reducing sensory overload, clear expectations)
- Understand how supporting neurodivergent team members and caregivers improves team wellbeing, retention, and psychological safety
- Learn simple, effective ways to reduce bias and create a team culture where every
