Understanding and Supporting Neurodiversity

People experience, process and respond to the world in different ways. Building our understanding of neurodiversity can help us move beyond assumptions and better support the neurodivergent people in our families, workplaces and communities.
Join Laetitia Andrac, neurodivergent founder of Understanding Zoe and mother to neurodivergent children, for an insightful and practical session exploring what neurodiversity really means and how we can create environments where different ways of thinking, communicating and experiencing the world are understood and valued.
In this session, we will go beyond ADHD and autism to explore the broader spectrum of neurodiversity, the importance of neuro-affirming language, and how communication, sensory environments and everyday expectations can create barriers. Most importantly, Laetitia will share simple, practical ways we can adapt our approach to help neurodivergent people feel understood, supported and included.
